Yes, my family tree has become a family forest with over
3,000 individuals connected in some way back to my main Hammond line. I wouldn't
doubt that I am probably a distant relative to 25% of the population of England!
I began my genealogy research several years ago when my aunt told me
the family bible contained the names, birthdates, and deaths of family members
going back to my great grand father Frederick William Hammonds. I started
with a direct line research but once I overcame my first brick wall I was
researching families of siblings and spouses until it grew into this enormous
tree. Needless to say its time to put my results on the web so others
may be able to find some connection as well. |
