Charles Mansfield Owen - Vicar of St George's, Edgbaston, 1883-1903
was born in 1858 in Hamble, Hampshire. He married Susan H.R. Longmore, also of Hamble. They had one child Basil W.L. Owen, born 1887.
Edmund Arbuthnott Knox -
Vicar of Aston, 1891-94
was born in Bangalore, Madras India in 1848
He was a Fellow at St John Baptist in Oxfordshire during 1871.
Married 1878 to Ellen Penelope French.,of Agra, India. They had 3 children: Ethel M., born 1880; Edmund G.V., born 1882, and Winifred F., born 1883.
During his period in Oxford he was (Teacher) Fellow, Tutor Prior Postmaster & Dean Of Merton College.
In 1894 he became Rev. of St. Phillips rectory Birmingham and was consecrated Bishop Dec 28 1894 in St. Paul's Cathedral.
In 1895 he married for a second time to Ethel Mary Newton, of Nottingham.
James Samuel Pollock - Vicar of St Alban's, Birmingham, 1871-c.1895
He was christened 17 APR 1834 at Saint Barnabas, Douglas, Isle Of Man, England. His parents were Captain Samuel Pollock and Catherine Jane Pollock.
He had two sisters, Anna P., born in Ireland and Katherine Jane. He also had a brother Thomas Benson who was a clerk at St. Albans at the same time James was vicar. In 1871 James was curate of Holy Trinity Bordesley and brother Thomas Benson Pollock was curate at St. Albans Bordesley
